Thursday

We worked on our animation program again today, and have to try to complete them for homework.

Today we worked on the animation program.

Programming test 2

On Monday, we did our second programming test.
On Tuesday, we got our test back and went over the model answers. We also learned  more about parameters and animation with Turing. For homework, we have to create a program that we talked about in class.

Friday :)

Today we had our last work period to study for the test. My group and I worked on making programs with functions and procedures in them. We took turns giving each other programs to make and helped. For homework, I'm going to study for the test and be a 4!

Today, we spent the whole period working in a group of three, and studied for the programming test. For homework, I studied more on http://www.touque.ca/.

Tuesday, Wednesday

On Tuesday, we learned about functions.
Today, we learned about procedures.

early dismissal

Today we spent the really short period taking up the Substring assignments. We're up to #11. Also, we learned about for statements, and new keywords like: decreasing, include, procedure. For homework, I modified assignment 19 and studied a little for the upcoming test.

P.S. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows = best movie ever!

Thursday.

Continued to work on substring assignments. I did up to #20.

Tuesday + Wednesday

On Tuesday, Mr. Arkin couldn't come, so we had a supply teacher again. I spent the period making good progress on the substring assignments and I'm now on # 5. I had some difficulties completing 5 though, so I worked with a partner to figure out the problem. For homework, I continued to work on the assignments.

On Wednesday, we had a supply teacher again. I worked on assignments 5 and 6 but couldn't finish because of the spirit assembly that took up half of the period. For homework, I'm going to do up to assignment 8 (hopefully).
